Long story short, picked up a new set of 5664 front springs for $47 shipped. I'm replacing my sbc with a Pontiac 455 and wanted a stiffer spring to handle the extra weight. According to this chart, they have a shorter load height and free height than every other spring. http://jeffd.50megs.com/Moog_Spring_Page.htm

Every forum I've searched, whether it's g-body or S-10, mentions cutting 1/2 to 2/3's of a coil to get the ride height correct.
I'll also be using 2" drop spindles and I'm hoping I won't need to do any cutting.

Anyone else using these springs care to comment?
