The article was written by someone who doesn't drag race slow cars. With a 6.0 second Zero to 60 it is almost impossible to run a "13 second" 1/4 mile.
To run a 13.9, the max zero to 60 you could have would be around a 5.5 seconds. On their '86 GN test, Car and Driver ran a 4.9 second zero to 60 to run a 13.9 1/4.
