Plotting and scheming. CM1SCW is running an eRod/6L80 combo and reports favorably. Does anyone have feedback on how well this transmission runs down the road, in traffic, etc?

You can run a 6L80 on a carb'd engine if you want. There's a computer that will talk to the TCM. I think it only needs RPM and TPS? I'd need to go back and redo some homework.
When I get a chance I need to read over this better, this is the way I want to go in the Blazer but my buddy has one in his Malibu but he says he doesn't like the gearing it has. It has now started slipping on him but I am pretty sure he gets all of his transmissions at core pricing so never has much into them or expectations of them.
Well I have been running the car for 5 years and have not had any issues. its not a daily driver so it only has about 9000 miles on it, since the swap. But I do have a 2016 Silverado regular cab short bed with 5.3 /6l80 and with 63000 miles and again no issues with it either. I did change transmission fliud and filter at 60000 miles
