I know this question has been asked before, but here goes anyway.
I am swapping in a GN 8.5 rear into my 84 cutlass which originally had a metric trans and a 7.5. I now have a super T10 4 spd. Does the driveshaft have to be shortened or will it bolt right in.

You will need a GN driveshaft, or you'll hafta shorten yours about an inch. Also, you'll need a TH400 yoke to fit a Super T-10. TH400 yokes are not all the same, they have diffrent girths. So shop accordingly. The one on mine fit the same universal as the stock GN driveshaft, so I didn't hafta get a mix-n-match universal.
