700R-4 in 84 Cutlass (which shift cable?)

I have an 84 cutlass with the stock floor shifter. I have taken out the 200C metric 3spd and installed the 700R-4. Curious to know if anyone who has done this swap knows what shift cable will work the best. 200-4R cable or a 700R-4 cable out of camaro or something.

You will probably need the one from the TH-7004R since they mount on the trans in different places however you need to make sure the mount at the shifter is the same.
You may want to get a universal cable from any parts supplier...

wouldnt you have to replace the shifter because of the overdrive gear? will the stock shifter travel far enough?? and does it have little noches were it goes into gear???
