700R-4 Question

I just finished bolting up my 700R-4 to a sbc 350 in my 84 cutlass. Has anyone encountered a problem with the speedo cable? It seems because it is a longer transmission the transmission hump does not have enough room to put speedo cable in without kinking it. Anyone have any suggestions or experience?

take a ball peen hammer and hit the floor board until it dents up and the cable it not kinked

Driveshaft

Is there any car that has a driveshaft I can use with the 350 sbc and 700r4?

nope. it will have to be shortened. that's why i hate 700r4 swaps.

unless someone started making driveshafts for these swaps???

I have a driveshaft out of an early 90's chevy astro van in my car. No cutting. Fits perfect. 🙂
