700r tv cable

another quick question how in the hell do you adjust this cable. when i step on it i feel it changes too quick it spits the first three gears by 30 mph. and 4th just takes a while.i put a nice 2500 stall converter i changed the servo to a corvette one so i dont understand.the only thing is the tv cable.it doesnt even kick back down once its up to speed. so help
