700r4 TV cable

Hi guys, im getting final preparation together for my engine swap, which is supposed to happen in about two weeks. I am putting a sbc350 and a 700r4 into my 87 regal and i don't know what length TV cable i need. There is a TV cable on the transmission now, which was from a camaro, will that work or do i need to buy another one, adjustable?

If the Camaro had TBI it will prolly work. If it was TPI it will be too long.

Thanks for the help. I measured it and it seems to be very close to what it looks like i need on my motor. Some guy told me once before though that i need an exact fit and recommended an adjustable TV cable. Is there only one length of adjustable cables, or do they vary?

Yea I think I ordered mine for an 84' camaro w/ 305 & 700r-4
