i found a deal on a 72 Skylark 350 and i am wondering will this engine work in my 84 cutlass supreme..my car currently has a TH350 w/ the stock rear end.

if your car came with the 3.8 buick v6 then it's a direct swap, otherwise you'll need the buick V6 mounts for the frame. so yes it will work in your car.

what about wireharness and other things of that nature

What engine is in the car right now? The Buick V6 to Buick 350 is a very easy swap. It's set up just like the V8 minus 2 cylinders. Only concern is that your front springs will squat.

The Buick V8 is very light, like 400 pounds. An even bore and stroke motor. Low rpm torque, not a screamer by design. Supposedly a near direct swap with the 3.8 v6. If 307 powered, than it is NOT a direct swap. An Olds 350 or 403 is a direct swap.

Sorry, but that's about 150 lbs low. The aluminum 215 weighs 320 lbs. The 1964 Buick 300 with iron block but aluminum heads and intake weighs about 400 lbs. A 1975 350 is at least 550 lbs.
