78-80 Cutlass rear window defrost delete???

I'm a Canadian up here "in da great white north, eh", and all our G bodies up here come with the rear defrost option (the stupid lines in the back window) for our crappy winters here.
Can anyone out there tell me if its just our cars, or just northern cars in general that have these?
Do any of the Southern U.S or (for example) Arizona or California cars come without this?
I know it's a minor detail, but my ride is NEVER going to see snow again, and I'd like to have a non-defrost rear window for it.
If such a thing does exist, anyone willing to sell and ship one??

None of my 78-80 Cutlasses or 78-81 Regals have had rear defrost. All were originally shipped to Ohio and Pennsylvania. They ranged from no option cars to highly optioned cars. My Mother had an 85 4 door Cutlass that had rear defrost.
Honestly I never wished for one either. The rear windows are so small it takes a few seconds to scrape them, and all my cars have made more than enough heat to keep them clear.
