'78 Grand Am in the wrecking Yard

Spotted this 1978 Grand Am the other day while roaming the wrecking yard. I think its the first time I have ever seen one in a yard. Made a quick video of it.

I've only ever seen one in person. Years ago down the road a guy had a baby blue one. He lived in an old little travel trailer turned into a little house. It had a carport attached, and the Pontiac sat underneath.

Used to see it run up and down the road 15 years ago or so, then the guy disappeared, and the car sat abandoned it it's spot under the carport. Looked like a decent car, no rust, just the paint was flaking off the top serfaces. About 5 years ago it disappeared. Hopefully it didn't end up scrapped like the red one.

Grab the taillights if they're good and aren't cracked and crazed.

Greetings Lx80 & all; If ya got the space consider saving the nose also. If you don't use it yourself, 5 years down the road someone will need it & ya can make a buck. I've supplemented my retirement with spare parts. And my neighbor supplements most of his hobby car funds with work rendered & or parts he buys & sells. If I was a Pontiac guy & younger I'd be all over this. Take care Ole' Bob

Also, I'm sure someone would want the '78 brushed face gauges if they're intact and includes a tach.

I'd take the whole car if I could afford it. Still have a Poncho 350 avalible to me that needs to fill an engine bay.
