Looking at taking the bench seat out of my 80' Cutlass and replacing it with 2 buckets. What are some seat options and how hard is it to mount them?

Are you looking to put gbody buckets or after market?

If using gbody body buckets you will need the inner floor brackets unless you have a split bench then you'll already have them. In that case any gbody bucket will bolt right up.

After market seats or seats from another non gbody will most likely require modification to the seat rails or making brackets to fit.

One thing to keep in mind is that these cars are not overly wide inside...some buckets will be too big to put in. Other than the Gbody seats being a direct bolt in with the proper brackets .. I've heard/seen people putting Cavalier/Sunfire seats, F body seats with little to no mods. Also seen people using the 2000 + Monte seats....

As V8 Rumble mentioned if you have a straight bench now you will need to add the inner seat mounts.

Keep us posted on any updates...I love the 78-80 Cutlass body style...post up some pics when you get a chance.

If you need a set of the inner floor mounts I have a nice set here.

Will do, it will be spring before I am able to get any work done since the snow is flying here in Iowa already and the car has been put away for winter, but here is a pic from a local car show this summer.
