80's Olds Cutlass rearend Question???

Are all the rear ends the same 81-84??

V6 and V8??

I have an 81 olds cutlass v6, buying a rear end off an 83 olds cutlass v8... wanna make sure

They are both gonna be a 7.5, so I don't think there will be any difference unless the one you are buying has a different gear ratio or posi. Even with that, you could just swap carriers and not the whole rearend.
