My 85 Cutlass with 18" chrome Players and Michelin MXV4 235/55R18 (tall tire, I wanted a Bentley ride.) Only mod is rolling the front fenders a little so the fronts don't rub at full lock. Nice stock like yet custom look without going overboard.

As long as car is at stock ride . Any wheel can look OK .But Once you stuff wheel wells with huge rims (no offense) Loose money and points at cars shows in my neck woods . May as well make it a 4x4.

As for type its up to you . From multiple forums I'm on . 17" seem to be preferred size. Majority rules I always say .
