Have a question about the floors on my bu. Can I remove the tube that runs across the front floor pan under the seat and over the trans hump? I want to put scion seats in it and the track makes me set way high.

You could but I think it'd just be easier to cut out what's needed for the seats to sit flush. If your car was originally a bench seat car you only had two seat brackets on each side, split bench and bucket cars had 4 brackets per seat. Are you fabbing your own brackets? Or adapting the seat rails somehow to fit the brackets in the car?
