81 Olds Supreme clearance for air cleaner

I am building a Buick 350 with a TA performance intake and an edelbrock air cleaner and 1400 carb.


Will my hood close?

Probably not. You might need to get a drop base for the air cleaner element. It will pretty much be a trial and error, test fit party after everything is together :idea:

if it touches the hood but doesnt close or the hood budges then just cut the underhood bracing out and see if it closes then.

i used the edelbrock air cleaner but its still a tight fit cowl hood is the best way to go im goin with 4 inch
