83 Cutlass, H/O grill insert

I took my 83 H/O to the beach this past weekend when my right side of the grill came out, fell underneath the car and was crushed by on coming traffic behind me. So I am beginning to look around for a Rt. grill insert. Are they the same on the 83 Cutllass? I do know the grill is different on the 84's.

Any suggestions?

Physically they are the same as the 83 Calais but H/O's were never chromed. If you were to paint a chromed one it may look "thicker" due to the extra chrome or you may have problems with the paint chipping and showing the chrome underneath.
I'd find a used 83 Calais and have the chrome stripped or scuff it really good and paint it, an original 83 Hurst grille is VHF.
