84 cutlass supreme help

Im getting a free 1984 cutlass sumpreme from my cousin and i want to know some specs. I know it has a V8 but im not sure of the size i think its 305 if i had to guess. i also want to know if its carbuerated or fuely. any info you have will help. thanks

less than 200, both motors.

should be 3 speed autos. probably like 200r4's

the rear end gears are normally in the 2's and non posi aswell

Anythings possible with a 25 year old car. Stock, there was no bigger V8. Someone could have added a bigger one at some point, but you will have to wait till you get the car to find out.

I forget what the Supreme means, but either way it will be slow and not performance oriented. I believe the 307 has around 140 HP stock, but I am not sure. Most people do not buy these cars to drive as is because they pretty much suck stock. They are a good platform to start a nice build though. There is plenty of performance parts available for the chassis and many types/sizes of engines will easily swap in. The bad part is that there is not many replacement body panels available if your car has rust. The ones that are available can be kinda expensive. Parts from the dealer are fading away and prices are going up. You can usually find lots of these cars in the junk yard with good parts depending on where you live.
