84 t type questions?

I was traveling today and ran across a 84 regal t type. It is in pretty ruff shape . Do the 84 have the 8.5 rear? It looked like it was all there but was sitting on flats in the mud so I could not see under too check on rear or frame. They had $1500 on the window but it looked like it had been there for a while.

84 should have a 7.5 unless it was swapped out.

Waht year did they start using the 8.5?

According to other threads on the site '84 was the first year for the 8.5" in Turbo Regals.

Is it a turbo T or just a T Type, if its a turbo T then most likely it has an 8.5rear, a quick peek can determine that.
If it looks as though the price was there already for a while then i would offer something lower than whats listed and see if you can get it cheaper.

I called about it today someone has a deposit on it but have not been back to get it. The guy said give him a week and if the guy doesnt came to pick it up it will be for sell again. It is a turbo.

84 came with the 8.5" 10 bolt from the factory. Check for a G80 code on the spid label on the underside of the deck lid.

It would make a excellent cruiser.
Also had a pretty desireable BQ code 2004r transmission from the factory.
