Im making a drag car that will see a very hard life from here on in

Ive been lurking here for awhile when i can. found gbodyparts.com

I was wondering if the torque box reinforcement kit is a good product. I have a fox mustang also and thats a big to do for the unibody junk

Ive never owned a full frame car and set one up. I know it sounds like a good idea anyone do it?

also what type of rear control arms do you guys run. I run shprical lowers and poly uppers on the mustang

Bmr makes a nice set of lowers. Intrested. Any other companys? Oh and one last question would adjustable uppers be a worthwhile purchase

and will a g body monte carlo or ss transmission cross member work on a olds thats getting a th350?

Thats a yes on the adjustable uppers. Check out H&R Parts.

If it came out of a car with a th350 than yes, it will fit.
Are you talking a stock crossmember, or an aftermarket one?
Since you're making a drag car, I'll recommend www.crossmembers.com they sell an awesome crossmember with dual humps to clear dual exhaust, as opposed to the stock crossmember that only has a hump on the passenger side.
I have their crossmembers on both my 442 and my 83 wagon and they fit excellent.
Hope that helps some.

Check out TRZ Motorsports for your suspension stuff. They have some of the quickest G-bodies in the country as customers of theirs. Their weld in Anti-Roll Bar is the best designed one on the market in my opinion. Contact "busdriver" on this site for another opinion of the TRZ stuff.

Yep for your rear suspension go with HR Parts N' Stuff & TRZ

adjustable uppers is always a good idea, and you might think about an ARB to help knock the twist down

I welded them onto my frame while the body was off. I figured might as well since it can't hurt anything.

Super easy to do:

I'm using Edelbrock double adjustable uppers with Moog rubber bushings in the rear end side and spherical bearings on the frame side.
Lowers are Currie-trac's with poly bushings on the rear end side and spherical bearings on the frame side. Although my car is setup more for pro-touring than drag racing so you probably wouldn't need that much articulation.
