i have a 85 cutlass i want to by this 305 motor and put it in my car the transmission i have is a th200 metric..will i have to upgrade it or could i upgrade to a th350 trans...? or will i need a bigger trans thanks for the advice in advance...

Your transmission will be fine for a 305. Be sure to check if your trans has a universal bop and Chevy pattern. If it has the bop pattern only, u will need to get a Chevy transmission. if you were going with a 350 engine, I would suggest a th350. The 305 HO only put out about 170 Hp, many have less than that. Not sure what this 305 you want is out of.You will need sbc motor and frame mounts, v8 radiator, radiator top plate. Also are u sure it's a 305 and not a 307 olds?
