I recently purchased a 85 cutlass with a v6. This project car as a lot of upgrades in her future. But now I wanna do a rear disc conversion. I found a right stuff conversion kit on summit. My first question is how do I found out if I got a 10 bolt or 12 bolt rear? And next has anyone had any experiance with these right stuff kits. Thanks

I was checking out right stuff brakes also looks like a good kit to me but got a different setup from a member here. If you look at rear cover you can count bolts going around.

You should have a 7.5" 10 bolt rear, you could goto the bone yard and get your own rear setup from a 98-02 Camaro/firebird v6/v8 for cheap. It will most likely be cheaper than the ebay conversion and will also be bigger at 12" rotors.(may need 16" wheels)

Thanks. This is my 5th g body and the first One that has what I want for my weekend cruiser. I've never messed with the rear or gears in any of my other ones. I plan on either a 350 swap slightly built with a 200r4 or do a lt1 swap with manual set up. I can get a running lt1 for pretty cheap but I don't know what id need other then engine trams and harness. Any insight would be great. Lt1 or carb 350?
