85 CUTLASS WITH 3.8V6/TH200 CAN I UPGRADE THE TRANSMISSION

I HAVE A 1985 OLDSMOBILE CUTLASS SUPREME BROUGHAM WITH A 3.8 V6 MOTOR/TRANS TH200 METRIC...I WANNA UPGRADE THE TRANSMISSION TO A STRONGER/BETTER ONE IS IT POSSIBLE...THANKS

with a 3.8 you won't need a 350 as they are both three speed and the 3.8 does not make enough power to bother with anything else UNLESS the transmission you have now is falling apart.

If you change to a overdrive transmission you should also change your rear gears as the are 2.41 usually and with overdrive on that will be very crappy performance.
