85 Grand Prix Questions

will monte parts fit in a grand prix. I was wondering if the fenders match up. and i like the monte dash better will that fit in my pontiac without mods?

also i have been looking to redo the interior does anyone know where i can find the plush fabric, mine is getting worn so i was going to put in new eventually.

The body lines are different. You think the MC dash is nicer than the GP? I have an el camino and an 87 GP and I think the GP dash is soooo much nicer!

i figured the lines were dif. thats why i checked on here... thanks for the quick reply.

i don't car much for the gp dash too much, it seems too big for me the monte dash is more my style.

Aftermarket gauges fit nicely in the holes on the GP dash.

yeah it looks good for gauges but I plan on doing a little custom work to it eventually when i get done with college. I want a dakota digital gauge cluster. and then where the climate control/ radio
is i'm going to put a touchscreen car computer. The monte dash wont take away from the touchscreen i think the gp one will. The opening in the monte dash will conform more around the screen and look great whereas the gp one will still have the gauges/vents above it which i think will take away from the screen itself.

i aint tryin to sound like an *ss but i wasn't asking opinions on it I was simply asking if it could be done without mods. i've sketched out both dash with the screen replacing the climate control and radio and i liked the way it looked for what i plan on doing. so please quit posting opinions it's not going to influence my decision either way.
