Price appears to be for a pair/both doors.

Have you pulled the door panel off the inner door skin and taken a peek at the motor and its mechanism? While the drive motor could be one culprit, there are other fiddly bits in there that can break or fall out of alignment. I have my own 85 M/C SS driver's door on the bench right now for other reasons and there are tracks that bolt to the inner door skin and idler wheels that run along those tracks. The tracks themselves are tweakable for alignment and the idler wheels which are attached to the scissor arms can be plastic or nylon and can break or seize. It could also be electrical as there is a ground involved.

Danger!! Will Robinson!!! The spring that counterbalances the stock scissor assembly is under major tension. Do Not put your fingers anywhere near it because if you inadvertently release it then the scissor arms close and can amputate anything they grab hold of. Ask me how I know.

Have you tried cleaning all of the old gunked up grease out of the window tracks and regreasing them?
