Ok guys been having an issue with the car here are the specs
3.8L NA TH200
car was running great 2 days ago, went to go put gas in the car ($10) after i put gas in the car the next day the car started running crappy rough idle while sitting at stop light car in gear, car running rich while in park was think ok maybe bad gas so I ran that gas out and filled up with super unleaded really didn't make much of a difference. Changed spark plugs and wires ran the OEM spark plugs and wires, measured the oxygen sensor because I thought it may be bad it is working correctly.
Thought it may be a knock sensor cause the car is pinging badly while I am under load changed that still doing the same thing (pinging/running rich...man the crap stinks) checked for vacuum leaks as well and nothing, thought it may be ignition coil that is good as well at this point I don't know what to do??
Is there an adjustment for the idle mixture screws or is that controlled by the ECM ?
The car is running like crap I cannot get it to idle steady like I had it about a week ago, timing is dead on at 15 degrees btdc. any suggestions?
