whats up guys, not sure if this should be in this thread or not but found some issues with my ride
i bought it in 2007 with 93,000 original miles im 3rd owner and never had problems besides gas mileage goin to trash after putting hydraulics on it, it has 118,000 on it now, well i decided to take a closer look at my motor bout a month ago
the wire harness going to the egr solenoid on the passenger side valve cover, 3 out of the 4 wires were stripped bare about an inch from the connection, but still connected
i also found a vaccum hose to the carb unhooked and when i hooked up a scan tool vehicle not responding as well as nothing with the jumper wire,
come to find out my ecm fuse was blown, so i replaced that turned on acc. and heard the clicking from the carb, i had never heard this before since i owned it and learned on here that is very normal, the scan tool still didnt work after replacing the fuse but the jumper wire did and shows no trouble codes even though my check engine light has been on since i bought it, the check engine light is off after starting and turns on bout 30 seconds after running
i guess what im asking is for any help or pointers to help this slow weak motor get better mileage or run better cuz its slow as hell, ill post pics tomorrow
