Have you checked to be sure that somebody before you didn't install drop spindles? If they did, you may be able to get the lift you want by returning to stock. If stock spindles are on it now, ask around and get several suggestions, one thing, the 34yr old springs may be sagging. My car was a factory v6 engine which I swapped for a v8, requiring new springs to lift it up because of old sagging springs, and the larger, heavier engine.

An extra thought, easy and cheap now might be more expensive in the long run. Check things out thoroughly before you spend time and money on things you don't need.
BTW: Welcome to GBF, post a few pics of your car, and tell us about yourself and your plans for the car. Mine is a 1978 GMC Caballero.

I see, you want big rims and tires. I don't know how to raise it for big rims and tires, but don't go away, someone else will probably know the answer.

You just need S-10 lift spindles with new springs and shocks
