Ok, so first I need some help with general knowledge. I'm just a beginner, so please have mercy on me.

You know that air intake tube thing that comes out of the side of the air filter on the passenger side (for an 86 elco)? Well you you know how it has all of those tubes and stuff coming out of the top that control that flap on the inside of it? Just keep that in mind for a sec...

I saw a video of a guy who put a universal air filer on top of his carb, and had a hose that went straight from the filter, through the hole where he took out his charcoal filter, and behind the bumper.

I'd like to get some kind of cold air I take for my all stock car, but I wouldn't know what to do with all of those extra tubes, like from the charcoal canister and the old air intake. I would get a legit one from the store, keep in mind, not one made of corrugated looking plastic.

So, my question is: where do all those tubes go? Is there like a video that explains all this or something, or a website? Thanks
