Hey,this car will need paint, but NO rust or dents, flawless interior.Power windows dont work, will need tires.Orig. owner passed recently.I'm the only one who knows about this car, going to drive it saturday.Where does this car hit you? It's been sitting, but other wise a very nice car.How much you think? Its loaded ,tilt cruise, all power, pillow top seats perfect. Thanks for any input,I'm going to buy it [i hope]I'm thinking 2000.thanks,later,BO

it depends on what engine but without seeing it nobody is gonna have any idea what its worth

It's worth what it's worth to you. As stated above, nobody can really say without knowing, also opinions may vary depending on location and availability of these cars to the person giving an opinion.

All I'll say is think about what it NEEDS and how easily you can accomplish getting it to where you want it.
Look really hard at the rear rails, trunk and door seams, I'd be poking really good at those areas.
You've said the power windows don't work, so you need new motors or a fuse is blown etc etc......
bottom line is how bad YOU want it, that will determine your willingness to meet their price or name a price yourself.

Good luck, either way I hope you end up happy 🙂

Thanks for the input, the cars in excellant condition.I understand what your saying.I also know these cars pretty well, the lack of interest has really surprised me,i also posted this on 2 other olds sites,so i learned somthing today. Thanks again, keep'em coming,BO
86' cutlass,307,all power,bench seat,half vinyl roof,light gry int.,dk gry out,spoke wheel covers,
interior perfect
paint weak[top side]
needs pwr windows fixed
tires
I guess its worth less than i thought,1500???

start low, without being an *ss, explain what you feel the car needs and what it will cost you to get it fixed, and go from there. It helps if you know some about these cars for sure.

I find it odd that both window motors are out at only 56k. I'm thinking somethings ****ed before the motors.

Anyways, again if YOU really like the car, get it, but you gotta like it enough to put up with things needing fixin either now or later. Bonus is, these cars are a piece of cake to work on compared to the new stuff.

Make sure you post back if you get it and take some pics first, lol 😛

here in michigan i would offer 2k if it was solid if not it would go down or i might walk away

It could be worth anywhere from a low of nothing to a high of $5,000, depending on the price you are able to negotiate, and the actual condition. If you want a brougham interior, then the condition of the interior is a critical factor. Even if you don't, the condition of the plastics, switches, etc. will determine a lot. After all, even if you switch to buckets and a console you want to be able to keep the rest of it. Also, good paint in a decent color is hard to come by on a cheap one, and a proper repaint is not inexpensive. Tires are not a big deal, but a broken A/C system might be. Specifically, if the A/C is still on R12 and broken, you will need to fix the issues AND convert it to 134a. I would assume you plan on ridding the car of it's 14's with white walls and wire hub caps anyhow, so the tires should not be a major concern. Even if it has the chrome 14 in rally wheel option, they are still too small and spoil the looks of the car. Above all though, is rust. Rust will make the car much more expensive to fix up in the long run.

Thanks guys, yeah i'm gonna offer 1200 now.The window problem is probably the switch, does need tires[dryrotted]and possibly paint. So we'll see,it will make a nice driver.I'll post again next week to let you know, thanks again,BO

when I bought my 86 has the same options as the one your lookn at from original owner with 70k he was askn 4,500 and had people there every day for it luckaly he was my dads friend so Im the one that ended up with it

I got my 4 owner 83' 3.8l with 68k on it.Original oregon car.PERFECT interior and vinyl top.Needs minor paint work on the edge of fenders and header panel from the previous owner tearing out the OG v6 and putting in another v6.(OG motor was ran with no oil 😢 ) Needless to say i swapped in a v8.Other than that the car is in near perfect condition.I paid $1000 for it 2years ago and sold the swapped 3.8 for $200,so I got the car for pretty much $800.Also when I bought my FULLY loaded (except f41 option)81 brougham with 89k,I paid $500(bad trans).
