87 GN 12 bolt rear end

quike question, will the rear end out of an 87 Grand National fit in my 87 MC SS ?
I have a chance to get one for cheap, would be nice getting rid of my 10 bolt.

The Grand National should have a 10 bolt from the factory the difference is the Monte Carlo came with a 7.5 10 bolt rear and the Grand National came with an 8.5 10 bolt. It will bolt right in but you have to shorten the driveshaft by one inch

Guess I'll have to shorten my drive shaft about the same, if my 78 Grand Lemans gets his new GM 12-bolt from Moser... still not sure though it will fit...
