Re: 87 GP interior in 87 Regal?

I just re- read your post and thought you were asking about a GN. SORRY!! I'm not sure if the sail panels are different or not. I'm shocked I didn't get called out on that one. I even have a Regal and a GP. My bad! If my cars were not in storage I would check it out.

I just realized my grand Prix abbreviation is way to close to GN.. Haha. Sorry. Yeah like I said I know the dash will work, but I have a complete doner grand prix and I want everything to match.

I don't think most of that stuff is a direct swap. The doors are different between the two, but the door panels should be ok since it's mainly the outer skin that is different. I believe the 1/4 windows are a different shape, so the sail panels are iffy. Though the interior sail panels are kind of floppy in that area?

I'm only worried about interior parts. I know the quarter windows are different shape, but I was concerned about mounting locations being in the same spot. I'm taking an entire grand Prix interior and putting it in my regal. The previous owner of my regal decided to dye everything black and it just doesn't look good to me. I have a mint interior from a grand Prix.

The different shaped 1/4 windows are what dictate the shape of the sail panel (interior pieces).

Everything with the exception of sail panels is exactly the same and will line right up no problems. As for the sail panels, I would dye your Regal Upper Sail Panels to match the color of the GP interior so it doesn't look goofy having your windows not line up. Just prep them correctly and use a quality dye like SEM. That would be SHARP!
