I use the car as an advertisement for RestoRides Services. We put the mods on this car just to show what we can do.
It is not for everyone thats for sure. But at night it look really cool. Not all the lights are on at the same time.
The rear caddy lights are tied into the third brake light wiring. All the marker and turn signals are LED to reduce amp draw
on the Alternator. The front turn signals alternate flash from front to side .
It may be a little overkill for some ,but it's ok for me. just a rat rod. Not a trailer queen.

Your correct, These cars were very popular and many still live on today. I love older chevy's, My brother owned a 66 nova SS
back in 1969 and it was stolen in front of the house one night- They never found the car. 327 factory 4 speed metalic blue,black interior. He went out to Jim Ratheman chevy in Melbourne florida and purchased a brand new 70 SS 396 4 speed
in midnight blue, He had it fitted with custom cowl intake and headman headers, american racing wheels on the stock Red lines. He owned that car up until the late 80's. The last Time I saw the car it was in his garage, 13K original miles, Original tires, No human ever sat in the back seat of this car. Still smelled factory new. He was moving to Georgia and could not
take the car so he sold it to a collector for $36K in December of 89...
I myself have owned several chevy trucks but never any chevy cars. I think of it as a canvas for a painter. I hold the brush.
Or spray gun !!! As I painted the car in my driveway over a 2 day period ( no both) First time painting a car with a compressor and HVLP. Car is Satin black urathane from Hotrod customs. $60 a gallon. Still have about a quart left for touch up's.
