9.5" wide wheel on an 85 Regal??

trying to find out if i will beable to run a 9.5 wheel out back of my 85 regal. Will i have to mini tub it at all? i can roll the fender lip, but will that give me enough room? would like to run a 275 out back.

I'm not sure that you'll need to run a 9.5" wheel to run a 275 tire. I have a set of monte SS wheels, 15x7 and i run a 255/60/15 on them in the rear and 225/60 on the front. I'm pretty sure you could get it on a 8" wheel with no problems

I talked to the guy who had the Monte on all of the MonteCarloss.com merchandise. He said he runs 17X8 w/ 4.5 bs in front and 17x 9.5 in the rear w/ 5 in bs and all he had to do was roll the fender lip and beat the inner fender wells in a tad. he is running a 275/40/17...this is the setup I want to run....just hope it will fit.

i just made a similar comment a minute ago.
so on my 78 monte the rear i have 17x9.5 with 275-40-17 and 4.75" backspace i have about 1/4" clearance from frame to tire and no cutting or notching or anything just bolted it on and cleared everything.
