I was at a swap meet and saw a rearend that was tagged for a G-body.
I need to know one thing, i took a few measurements and the mounts seem to be correct.
But the center where the third member sits, should it be centered or slightly off to the drivers side.
All the pictures I have seen make it look like it is off center, but I cant find any kind of a drawing.

The center will be offset. One axle and axle tube will be longer than the other.
Don't remember right off which one is longer but I could get measurments for ya if ya need em.

It will be offset slightly to the left. Making the left axle shorter to compensate for the ring and pinion offset. My axle tubes are the same length (approx 14.5") from inside the axle flange to the weld at the center section. Hope this helps.

The axle tubes are offset on the 9" I have. I have attempted to attatch a few pics to give ya an idea. Not sure how much you can tell from the pics though. You can even referrence the distance between the spring perches and where tubes are welded into the center section. Hope this helps.

The nice thing about a 9 in is they are easy to be retrofitted into any car since you can weld to the pumpkin...
