I will be doing this swap soon, but haven't decided if I should shorten the width to standanrd gbody width, or keep it the same with and do camaro rims and just stick with camaro/corvette offset. do those wheels look good on gbodys? How wide of a rim should I get. Also would i need spacers for the fronts? Let me know what you guys think.

* this rear end already has posi traction/disc brakes etc, and is why I am swapping it. Also I already have the rear end. *

You should probably just give the axle to me, so I can put it in my Caprice!

I myself would narrow it. I'm sure it would work with different offset wheels, but I'd rather not dick around with that kind of stuff. It also presents the added challenge like you mentioned of the front wheels...
That way you can just run some normal wheels.

So that's my vote.

damn, i haven't even thought about the suspension. I'm going to look more into the suspension to see how far off it is. But if I do decide to do it, I will shorten the axle (so if i decide later I don't want it, I can resell it as a gbody axle thats all setup). I also like the look of deeper wheels. When I get around to do this I will let you know what I have done. The stock rear end is too wimpy 🙁

Or the different wheel bolt pattern, apparently. All the 9C1 cars used 5 x 5" bolt circles.
