I have a tbi motor, harness, and computer out of a 95 tahoe i also have a 85 monte carlo ss roller sitting around. I wan to put this motor into this car WITHOUT buying a new harness. I am new to this kind of thing so any help on how to wire this into the car would be great. Also any problems i might run into?

look at larryselectric site.he has a great tbi plug and play harness for 275.00!!! awesome products,ive bought a plug and play tpi harness from him and also both my lq9 6.0 harnesses from him :wink:
I have done this same swap on two occasions. I put a 4.3 tbi into a jeep tj and I put a 5.7 tbi into my 84 Cutlass. You can do it with the current harness, but I would recommend a wiring diagram and a soldering iron to modify the harness to have a better appearance. I modified very little sticking the unit in the car, but was not pleased with the look. I spent A LOT more time on the harness for the tj to make it look factory.
'95 PCM is for an E-trans, you'll need a harness/computer from a vehicle without an e-trans ('92 or older) or a manual trans ecm. Best bet is get an OE harness from a 4.3 TBI G-Body and appropriate ECM. Otherwise you'll have a check engine light and probably other issues with no trans hooked up. You'll also need an electric fuel pump capable of 15psi.
The trans for 95 is a one year only trans. It is the pulse width modulated lock up. You can run the older and newer 4L60E, you need to match the wiring. You also need a 2wd trans. You could try a 6" TH350 housing and use an extra long yoke. Get wiring diagrams for both vehicles. A pre 93 truck used the 700R4 trans as said above.
I used a Mitchell's wiring diagram. You can generally go to a repair shop and pay them to print off the diangrams you need to use. Most guys are willing to do that.
