This could be a number of things, carburetor, ignition, vacuum/transmission. I would suggest doing a vacuum test and posting the results on here. Do it twice - once with the car in park/neutral, and the other with the car in gear - set the parking brake and have someone step on the brake also.

I'll second that

#1 For w/shield and rear glass you'll need a clip removal tool, which is available at a decent parts store. It's a flat piece of metal with a little hook on the end to spread the tabs on the clips. You slide it along the glass until you engage a clip with the hook, then gently wedge the clip open to release the molding. The belt moldings at the top of the door are secured by phillips head screws pointing outward from the inside of the door. You may need to loosen the window stop so the glass can be lowered enough for access to the screws.

#3 Some block heaters have a bolt in the center, in which case you loosen the bolt and pry it out. Others are pressed in. To remove those, you drive in one side with a drift to pivot it in the hole, then pry it out.
