So this past weekend:
1) We got hit with an F2 tornado Friday night. I'm fine, house is fine, but parts of the greater metro Rolla MO area are pretty messed up. I only got power back last night, which was nice. It was close, real close. I know some of you are around the area so hope it didn't hit you too bad.
2) Spent Saturday and Sunday making round trips back to OK to get ALL the rest of my junk. Which Sunday was a 5x8 trailer crammed full of spare GP parts and others. My "insurance policy" basically: An entire front clip, trunk lid, another spare hood, 2 full power doors (FK THESE ARE HEAVY SOBs), set of "turbo fin" pontiac wheels, 5 bucket seats (1 is trash just kept bc its power) and the matching rear seats for one set, spare roof glass, 3 steering columns, console parts, mint '86 GP Dashboard, trim pieces out the wazoo, and boxes of various other random bits and junk. A lot of it was "oh that's where that went" and "I don't remember this..." And this @$#^!# 3 ton manual press that weighs 3 tons I think. 😅 was definitely fun Saturday night unloading the car in pitch black. Now I get to sort it all out and store it properly so I know where junk is. No doubt I'll be selling some of this stuff so stay tuned.
3) My unofficial son in law 😆 bought Dino the El Camino.. So its on its way to a new home in Toledo, and I get to keep tabs on it. And get hit with tons of questions etc. 😆If its a little more road worthy by then maybe I can convince him to take it to the Classic lol. Maybe he shows up here, so be nice 🤣
