I rebuilt my non-CCC quadrajet earlier this year and had my 307 running like a top. I spent the last week installing a set of gauges and at some point during that period I developed a fuel issue. My engine will not fire without pouring a bit of gas down the carb. As soon as I do that, it fires no problem.
I pulled the air horn off to have a look, when I press the accelerator pump I see gas flowing through both passages. Put it all back together, same issue.
Any ideas?
