After the delete plate

I took out my heater box and installed the delete plate i wanted to know what you guys did with the hood rubber and the vent grille that went on top of the box can you reinstall that without the box or do you just keep the gap between the windshield and the hood?

I cut the top ridge off the original box and bolted it back on.

I got mine from here. It was a must have for me. I hate seeing the weather strip rubber just hangin over or nothing at all. Some dudes will even have their MSD box mounted to the firewall with out that top panel to protect it from water..

It has a slight bend to it so the water flows down towards the corner and away from the ac pltae..

Not the best angle, and there is still some trimming that needs done.

The other plate, the other guys have looks cleaner though, but this is free, lol. This way will still allow water to come through the screen on top, unless you modify that too.

I have one if you need it. I bought it from gbodyparts.com, but ended up putting the heater box back in. It's pretty much still brand new, I just had it bolted on. Make me an offer if you are interested.
