Hi, I am about to get started on installing a basic air ride kit on my 1978 monte carlo.

Not looking to lay frame or make any heavy duty mods to the car just want to be able to drop it down as low as the kit will allow. No hopes of hopping it or anything, just different ride positions.

I have what i thought was a complete kit but it looks like it is missing the 8 air valves (kit was uninstalled but bought second hand... that'll learn me not to look a little closer.)

So other than replacing the missing 8 valves I am wondering if someone can tell me exactly what i need parts and metal-wise and any other tips. Here is what the kits looks like...

Thanks in advance! Want as little surprises as possible : )

I wanna see some pics once you get it installed.

Looks like it comes with valves in the pic of your kit. You need mounting brackets. Call CCE Hydraulics in Kentucky. Their number is 502-969-7600. I got them for my Regal & I cut 1" off the front uppers to get a little lower cause I put Slam Specialties RE7's in the front.

as far as laying frame u will be close, its like taking ur springs out and thats how low you will sit..first ur going to have to decide on what valves u want to buy, i run smc half inch and you have to be careful on what u purchase esp for smc they do not make replacement diaphrams for them anymore so first ask if you can still buy them if they go bad, ur gonna have to trim a lil off ur frame, the spring pockets. dont do too muck maybe and inch at first then grind i a lil mor after u place the bag in for a test fit it will rub and put a hole in the bag..hope this helps

I agree wit you on the AIM comment but i have to disagree with you on the Ride tech there are extremly over priced. excpecally for what you get. Ride Tech sells Firestone bags Thomas Compressors and a Manifold Valve system mfg by ASCO i beleve if u pieced one of there kits together including the bold on brackets ( i have there same brackets on my car and ive sold several sets to customers) compared to 2200

Do you have a link to a site where I can find this setup cheaper? Thanks
