Air cleaner box interchange

Hello guys,
It is my first post here, so I hope I will get help I need.

I have 78' Monte Carlo with SBC 305, 2bbl Rochester carb.
I plan to install 4bbl Rochester carb. For that purpose I need air cleaner box for 4bbl carb.
I want to use stock air cleaner box.
Is there other cars that use this air cleaner type?

Pretty much any GM car from the 70s/80s that had a 4bbl carb should work. Avoid trucks, they might be to tall. Just take your 2bbl one to a junkyard, and find a 4bbl one that looks close.

Thanks for the info.
Unfortunately I am not in USA, so we don't have junk yards with american cars here 🙁
My only source will be some junk yard in USA or ebay, that is why I need as much info as possible, just to order the right part first time 😀

Hmm, well anything with a 5 1/8 inch hole will fit.

Here's an example of one from Summit (I don't know if you are able to order from them or not where you live):

They're a cheap and easy to get item here. But I'm not sure about shipping to where you live. Something you could do is just drive around, up and down back alleys. Looking for people that have some American cars sitting around. Then ask the owner if they have an extra one for sale (I used to find a lot of parts this way lol). Maybe you could just modify your 2bbl base to fit?

I think I found what I need, there are some for sale here 🙂

Otherwise, I am in Bulgaria, American cars are very rare here... my Monte Carlo is the only one in the country 😀
There is no demand for parts, so the only option is to import everything I need by myself.
