My a/c compressor seized up many years ago and I am now thinking of getting it going again. I was wondering if anyone has rebuilt a compressor and if that would be another option to getting one at a junkyard. Also, since the system hasn't ran in many moons do you think I will have issues with other areas of the system. Everything looks like it's in good shape on the surface. Just wondering if there is anyone that may have been through this already that can give some advice or suggestions before I dive in.

Thanks.

the quickest way is to try and let some out.
Look over the lines and you will find 2 fitting that kinda look like valve stems for tires.
just take somthing small enough to fit into to and push the stem in like you where letting air out of a tire.
BE CAREFULL NOT TO BREATH IN ANY OF IT!!!!!!!!

If something is in it you should have it drained down by a shop that does a/c. The freon in there is not good for the enviroment.
