Any tips on alky/water mix ratios or home brew alky? Going to be installing soon and would appreciate any tips from current users. Thanks all.

If your cheap like me, 😀 I run -30 washer fluid. Its around 30% methanol and cheap. Little different with a hot air car as the water helps cool it. Ive been meaning to try straight methanol but havn't ordered any.

Otherwise straight methanol is good.

I use Razor's kit in my GN. I mostly have run a 50/50 mix of Methanol & water as its safer and cheaper. It wont ignite that way even with an open flame. I dont think you are leaving that much power on the table with a 50% mix either. Their is better detonation resistance and more BTU in Meth over iso alky but I am told if you build your own kit for meth it takes all good stainless components where as alky is more forgiving. Its been the best single upgrade I have ever made to the GN at least as far as ongoing power and cost. Well I say that because its a street car not a track car so buying race fuel or even making 100 octane mix with Xylene & gas gets expensive as you are useing it anytime the engine is running. With methanol injection I am only useing it at wot and after crossing over 10 psi of boost.

I have a Razor Alky kit from alkycontrol. Love the kit works real well. I run strait meth in mine with no problems.. I am currently pushing 23psi on a stock unopened motor with 60lb inj and a pte6262e turbo No Knock at all.. Just remember dont get alky on your paint it will destroy it. Also keep away from any sparks or high heat source because alky burns clear and you wont even know it untill the car is up in flames..
