Those caprice are sexy

The wagon was a rust bucket but I really liked it and hoped to learn how to work on rust in the process. Needless to say, I hated it. The blue caprice was a beauty when I got it. Inexperience and loss of a job making it become my daily driver took it's toll on it....I hope to find another like it someday

When I bought it

What is that Limo?

It's a 1974 Pontiac Catalina. It was built by Armbruster/Stageway and it was used by a funeral home in CT. It's also called an airport limo but those usually have 4 doors on each side from what I've seen.

These are some sales documents I bought online a few years ago. Definitely get some head turns when I drive it. Also some bewildered looks like the gentleman in the attached picture.

Also, What's the story behind the limo?

Aside from it being a funeral home car.......I saw it and knew I had to have it. I haven't been able to do everything i want to do but that car is here to stay god willing. My kids wouldn't let me sell it even if I tried. Somebody mentioned in another thread having a cool car to drive while working on the other. Now that I have a garage and the el camino and monte carlo, I'm ready to dive into the Catalina. I never wanted to get too far ahead of myself and have the car not running while renting. A tow fee would not be cheap or easy.

Neato Limo!
I've always wonder about the chassis reinforcements, if any? I (we'd) like to see some chassis pics if you could?

Sweet! I like it. I don't blame you for driving it. I'd do the same.
