My brother-in-law just brought home a 1984 Cutlass yesterday. First thing he did on the way to his house, was drop by the papabearxl's house to show it off to me and mrspapabearxl.....it is an 84, starting out life as a 3.8v6 car. It has a 307 I believe although I didn't check any numbers.....just assuming here. Has the cream/off white interior and dark grey dash (like my 82 Cruiser had), and it is 99% flawless. He has been trying to buy this car for 2 years. It needs some paint, and body work (front right fender), but the vinyl top is extremely nice, either a new headliner or a perfect original one. Really great shape.
The front is dropped as you can see, and even though it looks like the 225/70/14's look like they would scrub like Hell, they don't.

Great find! Clean, great colors, not hacked up!
Maybe you'll discover a 403 under all those hoses...

Nice car. The front is probably dropped some mainly because its still on v6 springs I'd say?...mine did the same thing untill we put the v8 springs in.

Is that a v6 fan shroud? does it still have v6 radiator?

Yes, a great find. The fan shroud is still from the v6, and for his sake, I hope the radiator isn't. I honestly didn't think about the rad being changed.....should have since the PO of our 85 put a v6 rad on ours, after he stole the v8 rad to try on his other car (he included the v8 rad in the sale and we switched it back).
