Does any body else have a Bonneville? If so post here.

Had an '85 4-door. Was a blue 305 car. I loved that thing. the previous owner swapped out the transmission for a rebuilt TH350 with a shift kit. They also swapped in a 350 and ditched the ccc setup. I added a set of 3:73s to it, and had a blast with the car.

But, there were just to many things wrong with it. Power steering was shot, suspension was worn out, drivers door wouldn't open from the inside, and the window did't work either... the list goes on lol. And then I found mt Malibu, so I pulled my rear out and sold it.

I do want another one some day. They are a pretty cool looking car.

I used to.
I had an 84 Red like yours with out the vinyl top. I sold it as i wanted a 2 dr g-body and now I have a Cutlass Supreme.

My Bonnie was a mint (I mean almost new looking mint) low miles allthough with the anemic v-6. The v-6's in these cars are dogs unless you have the turbo.
It had Ralley II wheels with raised white letters and looked real good.

I think I still have a few parts for it in the attic, some trim mostly, red dash pad, maybe a few odds and ends.

Unfortunately they aren't collectible, but amazingly SOME body parts and trim fit back to the 78-81 Pontiac Lemans/Grand Lemans, Grand am. I used to have a 4dr 79 Pontiac lemans and it is the same body. these cars are also closely related to the Granp Prix 78-86 (especially the interiors and mechanicals, not sheet metal).

Pontiace decided to downgrade the Bonneville line/name to the smaller body in 1982 and threw the name on the old Pontiac lemans body, only made 4drs and put a mostly new nose on the 82-86 Bonnie to make it look more... refined or upscale (The front fenders still fit back to 1978 lemans).

They are great cars and easy to work on. But be REAL carefull if yu ever have to take the full instrument (woodgrain) cover off as you can get real frustrated and break it easily getting it past the steering column. Those items are hard to find in good condition.

Here is a pic of my old Bonnie.

Yea i hear you. I just bought mine last weekend at the canfield swap meet in ohio. For 1500. The car is spotless. It has 60,000 miles. And the fornt of the car is not matching becuase the old lady before the people I bought it from hit a deer. but I am looking foward to upgrading it. Maybe some tinted windows. Some news rims Etc. My dad has a 1962 t bird so he knows about cars and will help out in the long run.

I have an 83' Bonneville wagon that I pestered a 90 year old guy for 5 years to buy it. Not many G/wagons in NYC. So I yanked the six and put a 7,000 mile rebuilt 301 that I had in and hooked it up to a 4 speed saginaw with linkage from my Malibu wagon. I made a 77' TA console fit the shifter and used 95' Firebird reclining seats up front. Under the driver's seat is a 95' LeSabre six way power seat base. I redid the headliner and am in the process of redoing all plastic parts with SEM regal blue. So far I put all new fuel and brake lines in with totally polyurethane suspension components front and rear with boxed control arms out back plus all new springs, brakes, and steering parts. A GM 7.5 posi replaced the open leg. I'm running a Q-jet that runs perfect but I have a Holley pro-jection going in somewhere down the line since the object is mileage on this car. Right now I'm chasing down gauges and intermittant wipers and then I can start on the minor bodywork and paint it. Still trying to get a decent picture to post.
