Ok, first, I am NOT in any way affiliated with www.PuckerbuttPepperCompany.com but if you love hot hot HOT, I mean pull your intestines up through your neck, slice them open with a 8" carving knife, pour gas on them and set them on fire with a torch HOT.....you can save 30% doing it starting today running through April 7th. Not sure if it's a deal for just those on the e-mail list (which I am) or if anyone can just get the deal, but the savings code is 30OFFFOREASTER
This is not an April Fool's joke. I just ordered me some this morning.
If anyone who's into really spicy sauces and salsa, etc., you know the fire power the Carolina Reaper pepper has. Smokin' Ed, who runs Puckerbutt Pepper Company, is the guy who first came up with the pepper and it's infamous for being a one and done pepper. A little goes a long long way and no one I know can eat more than one, or even a whole one. I take like 2 drops of Reaper Squeezin's mixed in my bowl of chili and it has me sweating by the end of the bowl. When your friends tell you that you can't make your hot wings hot enough, you can easily prove them wrong. There may be like 25 people in the U.S. that can take Reaper heat without flinching.
They even have "extra hot" Reaper Squeezin's, signed by the owner, if you really want to burn holes in your tongue. I am not that brave.
If you have any gastro-intestinal issues, like Ulcerative Colitis, IBS-D, etc., I do NOT recommend any of this stuff. It will not be a good outcome if you have any digestive tract issues. If I eat too much of the Reaper pepper sauce it can be a not-so-fun situation in the bathroom later. The sh*t's like a habit-forming drug though. I keep going back.
This is the only place you can get genuine Reaper seeds as well if you want to grow your own. From the guy who "invented" them.
I really like their organic salsas. They have 2 versions, hot and mild. I buy both and mix them. For me, the Hot by itself cancels out the chip on the 2nd or 3rd chip.
The offer has some exclusions. The email says "Excludes gift cards, Hot Sauce of the Month Club, and 2-For deals, discount applied at check-out."
You still can save, though. Example- they sell the 2-pack salsas for 16 bucks and you don't get a discount. The single jar salsa is 10 bucks. But you can get 2 singles with the discount for 14 bucks.
Anyway, this ain't for the faint of heart about hot sauce. They have other stuff other than Reaper peppers, too. But they're running a 30% sale site-wide so if you're looking for hot stuff and want to save...
This is what happens if you just chomp into one without knowing what to do in case things go sideways...
