Does anyone have any experience with the Ridetech G-body street challenge kit or for that matter any other ridetech or air suspension items.

I have seen ridetech product in many magazine which is why the cost is up there but I have also heard there products are second to none when it comes to having an air suspension.

I also have seen many of cars blow bags or have them leak because they are not of quality to support the stress from continues use or stress from good amounts of power to the rear wheels

Anyway this particular kit comes with every thing I think I would need in the suspension department as parts that should be upgraded in a build

• 1 AirPod w/ 5 gal. Tank, 2 compressors, and LevelPro control
• 1 GM G Body 78-88 -CoolRide- Rear w/StrongArms (A.K.A rear trailing arms)
• 1 RidePro e2 Remote control option
• 1 Chevy S10 82-03 and G Body -Spindle- 2" Drop
• 1 GM G Body 78-88 -Rear MUSCLEbar - (A.K.A Rear sway bar)
• 1 GM G Body 78-88 -Front MUSCLEbar - (A.K.A Front sway bar)
• 1 GM G Body 78-88 -StrongArms- for ShockWave Front (Upper & Lower)( Shockwave NOT included) (A.K.A Control arms)
• 1 GM G Body 78-88 -ShockWave-
• 1 Aluminum Shock Upgrade
• 2 Double Adjustable Upgrade

If I’m missing something suspension wise or there are better/stronger parts available of anything that is listed please feel free to post

Thanks for the help yall

Thanks for the link...I've been to that site before but haven’t seen anything for the G-body, they deal mostly with items or the many ears or the S10’s and items for cars 96 or newer. They don’t make items in house so they are pretty much a middle man selling products from different company including ridetech and firestone which is pretty much ridetech re-badged .

It would be very helpful if you could expanded on which products from what company are better then the ride techs so I can look into those

those guys do sell other brands but they have there own as well and it is beefy as hell call them and talk to them about what you are tring to do

you wouldnt happen to know which band is there?

If not i will call and check when i get a chance

if you just want to lower and raise the car, then you can go with anyone.
if you want the car to handle great and reliably, go with Air Ride. however, you can get better handling with AFX or camaro spindles (with the air ride stuff, the g-body spindles suck), and you want adjustable front and rear UCA's, and you don't really need the front LCA's unless you want to go REALLY low.
if you go to Pro-touring.com you'll find tons of info and reviews on air ride and it's all favorable. or go to SC&C and talk to marcus, he'll work with you to pic the parts you need.

Thorbecke Brothers is there brand and the owners name is Jason super cool guy and if you can get the measurements of what you want they can build it for you way cheaper than a airride tech kit
